Hey there,

I’m Bailey.

I really wanted a place where I can just blurt out all the geeky stuff I interact with with probably a larger focus on Magic but I also intend to talk a good bit about boardgames and maybe books. I hope to share this space with folks eventually and maybe it’ll grow to something but that is not the Goal. The goal is just get my thoughts out there, I don’t promise to be profound and I don’t promise to dropping lessons on folks (ok maybe some…I have been playing Magic for 30 some odd years), but hopefully this space turns into something you can also pride in too.

Why The Whelmed…

Frankly, I had a different name for this site but I think it really cornered what it would be about and that frankly restricts what I’d allow myself to do for arbitrary reasons. I also think calling it The Whelmed really sets the bar for not everything needs to be overly positive or negative; things can just be and that’s fine. Enjoying something doesn’t have to be life changing.

Any who, that’s point of this place. Prepare to be whelmed.
